Our reception halls at the castle for your wedding

Château de Champ-Renard has two adjacent wedding venues: the Salle de Justice and the Salle de Garde.

With its stone vaulted ceiling and large picture windows, the Salle de Garde is ideal for hosting a wedding reception. Featuring tasteful lighting, this luxurious reception space can seat 180 guests. It opens directly onto the castle tower, the only remnant of the building’s medieval period. This annex, which is accessible without being ostentatious, is a perfect spot to display the newlyweds’ guest book, for example.

The Salle de Justice takes its name from its former use: it was, in fact, a courtroom. Today, this 100 m² luxury wedding venue hosts the dance parties that follow the wedding reception. Equipped with a sound system and a video projection system, this beautiful stone-walled space features a bar and a 30 m² awning. It is also possible to host the wedding reception here.

The Champ-Renard estate offers a customizable private rental of the château, allowing you to enjoy complete privacy for 48 hours. By choosing this option, you’ll have exclusive access to:

in the Château’s reception rooms: this space, ideal for wedding preparations or for enjoying a few moments of privacy, consists of a large living room, a gallery, a dining room, a billiards room, a small sitting room, and a balcony terrace overlooking the park;
At the Allée des Charmilles: Centuries-old trees line the 400 m² of this avenue, which is suitable for both a reception (up to 300 guests) and a civil wedding ceremony;
at the Esplanade du Château: thanks to its elevated location, it offers a breathtaking view of the estate and is the perfect spot to host a reception in front of the château or to schedule a photo session;
the English-style park: Spanning 1.6 hectares, it features a variety of landscapes and includes an artificial river crossed by a rock-work bridge, as well as a bamboo grove and a massive sequoia.

It is possible to stay on site in the castle’s two guesthouses, which can accommodate twelve people.

The history of Château de Champ-Renard dates back to the Middle Ages, although only the tower dates from that period. Over the years, the building has undergone numerous restorations.

In particular, it was transformed into a family-run winery in the 18th century, before falling into obscurity until it was purchased by two enthusiasts in 2014. Fabienne Vilain and Denis Garnier turned it into what you know today: a luxury venue for hosting your wedding.
