Built in the 13th century, at the height of the Middle Ages, the Château de Champ Renard has undergone several renovations and restorations over the centuries, which have preserved its authenticity and historic charm.
Converted into a winery shortly before the French Revolution, the château now produces authentic Beaujolais wines from its own vineyards, with a strong focus on sustainability. Most importantly, it now hosts private events and has developed a comprehensivewine tourism program for individual visitors.
Would you like to spend a weekend in the Beaujolais region? We welcome you to our two charming apartments on the first floor of the château. Renovated in a country-chic style that’s both authentic and elegant, these vacation rentals are fully equipped (bathroom, kitchen, living room) so you can enjoy your stay in complete privacy—whether you’re traveling as a couple, with family, or with friends—since each has a separate entrance with a key code.
The Appartement du Paradis is ideal for a couple (with or without children) or two couples, with its large double bedroom and a two-person sofa bed in the living room. The apartment offers a breathtaking view of the vineyards. Its small, paved terrace on the ground floor, furnished with a table and chairs, is a nice bonus and makes it the perfect spot for a romantic weekend in the Beaujolais region or a gourmet getaway in a bucolic setting.
The Cocher Apartment, which also overlooks the vineyards, can accommodate up to 8 people thanks to its 3 double bedrooms, a two-person sofa bed in the living room, and 2 bathrooms.
These two charming, bright apartments welcome you with the authentic spirit of the French art of living. With their polished hardwood floors, exposed stone and beams, and furnishings that blend contemporary pieces with vintage items tastefully restored by local artisans, they’ll quickly make you feel right at home!
