Although the original castle was built in the13th century, most of the buildings date fromthe 15th century and have undergone numerous renovations. Converted into a winery inthe 18th century, Champ-Renard was purchased in 2015 by a couple of entrepreneurs from Lyon who wanted to turn it into an exceptional event venue.
