Nestled in the heart of the village of Blacé, surrounded by the vineyards of its estate, the Château de Champ-Renard offers a setting that is as pleasant as it is prestigious for a corporate seminar in the Lyon region. Built during the Middle Ages, this former fortified house has been renovated to provide you with all the necessary comforts (including high-speed Wi-Fi) while preserving its historical heritage, which lends the property charm and authenticity.
Located near the A6 highway, just 30 minutes from Lyon and the Mâcon-Loché TGV station, our estate offers you the option to reserve its meeting rooms exclusively, as well as its two apartments with views of the vineyards to accommodate your employees during your stay.
The Cocher Apartment and the Paradis Apartment can accommodate up to 12 people on the first floor of the castle’s two wings. Recently renovated in a country-chic style, their warm and elegant decor invites you to relax and will quickly make you feel right at home.
Each apartment is fully equipped and has its own entrance, ensuring you complete independence. You can also enjoy our beautiful 1.6-hectare English-style park and discover the history of our castle by booking one of our wine-tasting tours.
Château de Champ-Renard offers companies a customizedaccommodation solution forseminars.
You can reserve the Appartement du Cocher (capacity: up to 8 people) and/or the Appartement du Paradis (up to 4 people) for your employees. For larger groups, we can arrange additional accommodations through our partner hotels: the charming Le Savigny hotel, located 600 meters from the castle, or bed-and-breakfasts just a 10-minute drive away.
As for meals during the seminar, we have selected partner caterers who will meet your quality standards and accommodate your preferences.
The Coachman's Apartment
The Coachman’s Apartment is located above the castle’s former stables. It’s not just a name: in the 19th century, the estate’s coachman lived here. The entrance is through the former tack room, which still features authentic saddle racks and bridle racks as mementos of that era.
Paradise Apartment
The “Paradis” apartment was named in honor of the fresh, fruity wine produced from the first pressing at the start of the fermentation process—and for good reason: it’s located right above the fermentation room where we make our wines. It also offers a beautiful view of our vineyard and opens onto a small paved courtyard in front of the winery, where you can enjoy a cup of coffee or breakfast.
In addition to the bedrooms (3 double bedrooms in the Coachman’s Apartment, and just 1 in the Paradise Apartment), each apartment features a living room with a large sofa bed, a dining area, a fully equipped kitchen, and one or more bathrooms with separate toilets.
With their exposed beams, hardwood floors, and decor that’s both modern and timeless, these spaces will help you enjoy a pleasant evening after a busy day at work.
