That is exactly what the Château de Champ-Renard in Blacé, in the Rhône region, has to offer. Built in the 13th century, the building lost its medieval fortifications over time and became the residence of the Lords of Beaujeu before being converted into a winery in 1765.
It was its 19th-century renovation that gave it its current appearance, with its mullioned and pointed-arch windows, its superb arbour-lined driveway, and its English-style park featuring an artificial stream and a small rock-work bridge.
