Built in the Middle Ages, the castle was converted into a winery in the 18th century. It was purchased in 2014 by a passionate couple, Fabienne Vilain and Denis Garnier, who set out to transform it into a wedding venue with accommodations. Respecting the history and architecture of the site, they restored the castle and equipped it with all modern comforts. To do so, they enlisted the help of local artisans who were committed to preserving the authenticity of this exceptional heritage site.
At the same time, they cultivate seven hectares of vineyards, producing red and white wines under the Burgundy and Beaujolais appellations. They also offer tours of the estate with wine tastings: for your wedding, you can enjoy this wine-tasting tour at no additional cost. You can also purchase wine for your wedding from the Champ-Renard estate and even have the bottles personalized with your names!
In addition to the château’s two wedding reception halls, the estate offers lounges for your preparations, as well as two charming on-site guesthouses (sleeping a total of twelve).
